Sylva is living with her parents and four siblings in a two-room apartment in the residence for socially disadvantaged. Family has often visitors hence Sylva has poor conditions to study. She is smart, but distracted, so the possibility to study without being interrupted has great impact on her grades. A bit unconventionally, we have moved the tutoring in the space of our offices for her. Usually, one lesson should last one hour, but Sylva enjoys the tutoring so much that she shows up half an hour in advance. Often, even after 1,5 hour, she doesn’t want to leave and draws for a while. We are still helping Sylva with her homework and training her concentration. Tutoring became for her an opportunity to leave the busy setting of the residence and have her own space where she can focus on work.
