Klára has failed 3rd grade. Now, she might pass with distinction

Klára has failed and had to repeat her 3rd year. She didn’t enjoy school and had difficulties during the classes. It all got even worse, when her father was imprisoned during the 1st term. Since her mother takes care of Klára and her four siblings, she doesn’t have enough time to help her with the schoolwork.

At the beginning of the school year, Klára started to attend extra classes with one of our tutors. Despite all the inconveniences, she was trying hard to catch up with all the subject matters. One could tell that she enjoyed the tutoring and she even asked the tutor for extra work. During the extra classes, Klára also helped her siblings with their own homework. Soon after, this change of Klára’s attitude started to have an impact in school – she paid attention during the classes and she learned better. After a short time, Klára started to study at home all by herself. Her grades were improving and she realised that keeping up with the school isn’t so hard as she thought. All her effort paid of. At the end of the 1st term, she succeeded after having at her school report only one 3 grade. Now, as the end of the school year is approaching, Klára might pass with distinction. However one thing is already clear: Klára found her motivation to learn and for the next few years, she’ll know how to handle her schoolwork.
